The board of KidneyTexas recommends the following for funding:
  1. National Kidney Foundation, Camp Reynal, $41,925. Based on camp fee of $195 per camper for 120 campers = $23,400 and medical expenses of $18,525.
  2. Children’s Medical Center, $30,000.00. Toward the purchase of 2 Hemodialysis Treatment Machines.
  3.  UT Southwestern Medical Center, $10,000.00. Support Dr. Brugarolas with his radiation test therapy in animals to determine optimal regimen to treat kidney tumors.
 
In the event the net proceeds from the 2013 Kidney Texas Luncheon exceed $81,925.00, the first up to $10,000.00 be donated to PKD Foundation, our contingent beneficiary, supporting clinical trials in core labs for treatments to slow and stop the progression of PKD.
